Bhuj, the main city of Kutch Gujarat, and  also district headquarters is an ancient history of place located on the foot of Bhujiyo Dunger and nearest Great Rann of Kutch. The history of Bhuj is dated back to thousands of years, it is said that Bhuj was managed by Naga Chief- divine deities of half-human half-serpent beings that lived in the Patala loka and can sporadically take human form as well. The hill where last Naga King Bhujanga lived known as Bhujia Hill and Bhuj was set up by walking on hill Bhujia Dunger.
